Future Work & Reflections
Future work for this design is currently ongoing. The current version of the design still has room for improvement, such as:

Bigger, notch system for sturdiness and easier manufacturing

Sleeker, more rounded design

Although the lid is detachable and can therefore be washed, a design that keeps the spit from touching the lid may be more sanitary
More prototyping using custom manufacturing parts would also prove useful, as well as experiments studying the effects of small amounts of mass added to horns over long periods of time.
Project Reflections
Not only was I able to enhance and practice my skills on my own over this five-week period, but this project allowed me to have a great time doing so. Apart from improving my design, CAD, drawing, prototyping and research skills, I learned a lot about the general engineering process and how you're constantly planning and revising throughout the process. I also had the opportunity to practice communication with clients, peers, and mentors and apply their suggestions to my design.
